To educate childcare professionals & NCSs how to Interact With and Move Babies in a Strategic Way In Order to Provide the Needed Learning Opportunities, Range of Motion, Movement Patterns, Neuromuscular Education, Cognitive, Sensory Stimulation & Emotional Nurturing Needed for an infant to Fully Participate in Their World Without Physical, Cognitive, or Emotional Limitations & to Assist Each Baby to Reach Their Highest Potential. 

Your DCN Infant Development Consultant & Nanny Can:

• Promote the Best cognitive, motor & sensory infant development that connects all systems at the perfect time while they are developing through PLAY. 
• Identify abnormalities in movement and general connections of systems that can lead to physical delays, speech delays, cognitive processing challenges, eating challenges just to name a few.
• Play with purpose to help these asymmetries by promoting the correct movements and connections so that your baby isn’t held back or struggling and they can achieve their greatest potential!
• Communicate with you and help you reach out to your health care professional WAY earlier if needed.
• Make sure your baby receives the nutrition they need to grow and develop including identifying and working through any feeding challenges they may have caused by deficiencies in motor or sensory systems.
• Create a customized baby play space for optimal play and development. 
• Help you decide on appropriate sleep aids to make sure delays are prevented 
• All of this in a loving, nurturing and caring way. 

What Is The DCN Program?

The Develop Connect Nurture Infant Development Certificate Program is a 12 week practical and scientifically based self study & live mentoring program developed specifically with and for NCSs, Nannies, & Doulas to provide knowledge and skills that can be used immediately to positively impact the brain and body development of infants. 

It has been developed by Elizabeth Agrapidis whose education and experience as a pediatric physical therapist allows her to take high level medical, neurological & educational information and teach it in a practical way to be used immediately to adapt the way infant nannies & NCSs will see a baby’s development, react to it, prepare for it and teach it to parents which immensely increases the positive impact they will have in the life and future of their families.

This knowledge is not provided anywhere else in this unique way teaching the practical skills from 20+ years of experience working with babies, children & families in multiple medical settings as well as in educational systems in various roles. 

This multi-faceted perspective has lead to the vision of what needs to be impacted and facilitated in infancy in order to create the children that parents envision, that can:

•  play independently
• participate successfully in school, 
• and go on to reach their greatest potential. 

Newborn Care Specialists and infant nannies are in a unique and extremely impactful position of being hired very early in the lives of families and trusted to provide the very best in all of the areas of development for a parents’ newborn baby. This doesn’t allow for some areas to be unknown or put off until later. 

More and more babies are presenting with delays due to sleep aids and more “convenient” ways of parenting that I believe are done without the understanding of the consequences this will have on their babies.

Elizabeth Agrapidis is an accomplished educator, pediatric physical therapist, teacher, NDT certified practitioner, author, toy inventor, wife, and a mom of two.

She is putting many of the puzzle pieces of whole child development together for nannies, caregivers, and professionals like you from the convenience of your home through a certification program and specially offered seminars.

Elizabeth offers these programs and active support communities to assist children and families! By optimizing a baby’s movement patterns and development before anything becomes a problem it greatly impacts their future.

Her growing movement is called AbiliFit Pediatric Development Specialists through which she delivers the Develop Connect Nurture Method & Certification Program!

As a PE teacher, adaptive PE teacher for children with special needs, and a pediatric physical therapist, she noticed that there was something missing and she wanted to help with children’s early development from that point on in her journey.

Elizabeth now takes that knowledge and practical experience and provides hands-on developmental strategies, knowledge and tools for your “Nanny Pack” through coaching and her online program. This will help nannies, caregivers, and families to be better equipped to guide children’s physical, mental, and emotional development and assist the babies in reaching their greatest potential.

Her goal is to promote the Ability of the body, mind, and spirit for professionals, babies, and their families.
